Bizarre that their offensive strategy is “shoot from everywhere as long as everyone is 7’ tall”

But can it turn drone footage of a nuked fishing boat into Studio Ghibli? Kiki’s Fentanyl Delivery Service, maybe?

Everyone knows the best way to make scrambled eggs is to hard boil them and then put them in the blender, shells and all.

This is very smart from a viewership growth perspective. YouTube is sort of the only venue to help folks find your podcast. Fully support this, and I hope my YouTube Premium subscription nets you a bit of cash.

It’s truly the worst service. I hate that every time I try and change an episode i accidentally trigger the “more like this” menu. No, I don’t want your algorithmic recommendations. I want to watch the same 5 prestige 2000s dramas over and over again, like everyone with taste.

This is like that final season of Veep where Selina insists on escaping asylum in the Norwegian Embassy to accept the Nobel Peace (*conference*) Prize. Not the actuality Nobel Peace Prize, just some plaque they give out to visiting dignitaries. Life imitates art.

As a soon-to-be boat owner, I will be sure to line the hull with pure, uncut cocaine, for buoyancy.

How many times do they play Denver this year? I feel like that’s how many more losses they will have. Lus maybe the one game they’ll play The Pistons. So maybe 77-5?

I’m a very competitive person and a racer at heart, but having kids has slowed my pace substantially, on has only made me fall further in love with bikes.

I agree it casts doubt and increases suspicion. I really, truly (naively?) hope that, among professional athletes, there is enough integrity, and (probably more likely) insane competitiveness that it isn’t the overwhelming majority of big games.

2/2 and then they conclude that every sport has it’s issues (no league has embraced legal gambling more than the NBA) and that the only reason these indictments are happening is because of the sunshine legalized gambling has shone on the industry, I for one welcome our new gambling overlords.
November 23, 2025 at 3:31 AM
Oh, it’s way worse than that. Basically every major NBA Podcast after the Billups/Rozier scandal broke was “we’ll be digging into this betting scandal and more after these messages from our sponsor fanduel” 1/2

Maybe the way we measure the state of the economy needs to evolve now that so much of it is tied up in a handful of companies that exist to try and monopolize our attention without improving our lives at all, and so much of the wealth from those companies accrues to a handful of billionaires!

Because we never stop using age-old turns of phrases as our understanding of how they might be perceived as offensive to modern audiences.

It provides them cover, where they can claim that it's merely and objective summary of all human knowledge, instead of the thumb-on-the-scale influence of their right-wing pickled, wealth-addled minds.

It's that a handful of deca-billionaires are creating scalable echo chambers based on their own perverse worldview. It's a proxy fight on what truth is. It's allowing billionaires to launder the nonsense in their group chats straight into the brains of millions of users.

Oh, they for sure are stupid, and because they are stupid but also successful, they think everyone is stupid. It’s stupid all the way down, but it’s wrapped in malice.

It’s almost like an entire political movement centered around “I got mine, go fuck yourself” isn’t the best group to be a part of.

Likewise. We’re a household of 6 (3 kids plus a MIL) and live in a suburb of Vancouver (North Van). We have one car (well, minivan) and that likely won’t ever change. I can bus downtown in 20 mins (faster than driving on average) and we walk or bike for many of our in-suburb trips.

Ya, I mean we initially formed governments to do the kinds of things that aren’t profitable to do on a national scale. Delivering physical goods to 40m citizens spread across 10m seems very hard and expensive!
