It's an injustice & another example of violence enacted by this admin on the most vulnerable who have protections under international law. The fact that this administration is charging the very people seeking safety is an affront to the American people when ICE's budget has increased dramatically.

I hate that we don’t know the names of those lost to gun violence in Dallas last week. ICE officers are fawned over while those detained were sitting ducks. We can’t mourn, nor honor fully without names. But that would make these men human and dehumanization is fuel for this war machine.

This report confirms our worst fears. This facility is woefully inadequate and does not comply with the 2025 National Detention Standards clearly laid out by ICE. We demand the immediate closure of Camp East Montana at Ft. Bliss.
