Maybe 6 weeks after my mother (essentially suddenly) passed away, a church we were visiting did a “if you’e sung Rutter’s Requiem before, come to a few rehearsals and join us”. I cried after rehearsals regularly and some while performing, and while we didn’t join, I am so grateful to them.
