What do you think of my patch? Only my second attempt at paper piecing. I've got tons of cotton scraps I thrifted this summer and I found some paper piecing in them and my wheels got to spinning.

What started last October was placed in its home today at the Wichita Public Library Maya Angelo Branch. At least 105 students, at Wichita Public Schools Gordon Parks Academy, made a fiber art collage for this piece of fiber art. There are about 200 collages in the piece.

What started last October was placed in its home today at the Wichita Public Library Maya Angelo Branch. At least 105 students, at Wichita Public Schools Gordon Parks Academy, made a fiber art collage for this piece of fiber art. There are about 200 collages in the piece.

I landed my second public art gig with Alliance for a Healthy Kansas. We will be making fiber art collages with the communities of Liberal, Lucas, Wichita, Pittsburgh, and Kansas City. The collage will be put together to make a map of Kansas.
