Definitely. Was hurt by my sis so created a story with her as the "villain". Gave her a redemption arc. Guess I can't stay mad 😁

That's wonderful! I'm a pantser, I love the creative process of it. However I can get stuck sometimes. I started my current WIP using the Write Structure process. It gives you a road map for your story. I find it guiding and not restrictive.

Wow...that's very brave of you...I write fiction and there's certain topics/situations I can't immerse myself in to write. What is the message you aim for? Knowing that could help in suggesting other authors.
