My winter tableaus… the wreath is made from fabric feathers I created for an early project.
I found the tiny wooden ornament at a local resale shop.
And the winter scene sits atop a cupboard in my office, owls are a favorite. At night, I sometimes hear them up in the woods, calling to each other.

“In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.

And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.”

The December's full Cold Moon rose overnight on Dec. 14 and can be seen in the until sunrise.
This last full moon of the year was named such because it ushers in the long, cold nights of winter.

Here in south central PA, there is a unique barn style. These structures were made of brick. For ventilation, the bricks were placed to create a variety of patterns. These barns are found along the PA/MD border and are slowly disappearing. I enjoy traveling the back roads to visit these old friends.

Not my photo…. I collect rocks and pics of rocks.
Beauty before me, beside me, above me and under me.
Being aware of the Glimmers that surround me buoys my spirit.
