He has no idea how property and casualty rates are calculated, does he? And no inkling about state regulation for insurance sold in that state. Nor any understanding that forcing actuarially unsound rates will result in an insurance availability crisis? What a dim bulb!

WTF? I live in south Georgia (Valdosta) and our Republican congressman Austin Scott has not held a town hall meeting in ten years! I’ve called his office repeatedly to ask when he plans to hold one, and all I’m told is that “my concerns will be shared with Representative Scott.”

Please take a look at this documentary made about some elderly Ukrainian grandmothers who refused to leave their homes near Chernobyl after the disaster. I watched it a couple of years ago as part of an anthropology class. You may be able to use some of the information
