I went to my psychiatrist last week and I seriously struggled to answer the questionnaire because I've had a couple of VERY bad days but all were triggered by something ultimately fixable - I'm still trying to figure out my disability - and those bad days are not indicative of my overall attitude.

I love talking to my kid. We just had a long rambling conversation about zodiac signs, Christmas Break, her "cousin" (my goddaughter), how much they look alike even though they aren't related, snacks, baby pictures... It's so fun.

Well this makes me glad I have my grandmother's naturalization records proving she was a naturalized citizen before she gave birth to my mother. I can't prove my grandfather's.

I may have also promised her new shoes and a purse. 💀

The dress Kiddo really wanted does not fit. I'm out $6.95 for return postage but it was worth a try. Going to go Amazon shopping with her tomorrow for something that will at least partially match her dolls.

I think I fixed the decision paralysis because I remembered I get teacher discounts at a bunch of places.
My spouse is having decision paralysis on their new desktop, after spending 6 months saying they need a new desktop. IDGAF what they buy, I have financing through Best Buy AND a brand new card with 0% interest for 15 months. I just need them to *pick a damn computer.*

I know I said I was going to quit but a call came across my desk that I LITERALLY ALREADY HAD A PROPOSAL WRITTEN FOR. I'd meant to send it to a different journal before I got sick (it was dated a month before I went into the hospital) so all I had to do was tweak the language/dates and submit.
I need to stop submitting proposals because I’m literally losing track of everything that’s been accepted.

I have such a busy day tomorrow, most of which was set before my chemo got moved to today. I am praying that my normal chemo pattern holds true (three days feeling fine, then 2-3 days kicking my ass), but that does make me nervous for work on Monday and Tuesday.

I legit forget I'm disabled an annoying amount of the time. I let kiddo have the icing for the cinnasticks thinking I'd just make more and now there's no icing and I can't make more.

For clarification this is under half of what I normally spend. Husband bought themselves a brand new gaming computer (it was Time; new games weren’t playing smoothly) and the $120 was a negotiated amount because they hate having money spent on them.
So I’m on a mission to make an excellent Christmas for my husband with a budget of $120 + shipping for presents and stocking. Candy is not included unless it’s something special not at the regular grocery store.
I’ve spent about $50 so far. Gotta choose carefully.
