Not everyone can safely protest. There are a lot of Black folk who are allies and specifically AREN'T protesting because it isn't safe for them. There's ✨nuance✨ here. Again, this is better understood as not-discourage in its original context; OP for this thread cropped it out of context. *shrug*

Just because he isn't in the mood and moment of the folks who protested doesn't mean he isn't a supporter. Like... why are we trying to pick a fight with an ally?

This seems a pretty disingenuous take given that you've cut out a bunch of the additional context of what he was saying here. Why are we taking potshots at our allies?

As a fiber artist this is actually a pretty big bummer that you'd take an incredibly tactile, time-consuming, skill-intensive art and use AI to mimic it. It makes it hard to take your work sincerely when I know there's the undercutting of your ethics by using AI.
