It's inevitable that good shows will get lost, when they're buried in the piles of garbage and mediocrity which make up 99% of Netflix

Holy hell; what a smug, punchable prick

This is also iffy: In a 1/17/25 letter, Deep Sky’s VP, asked to consider passing liability to the province after projects close; limit the companies’ responsibility to consult with, and compensate, potentially affected landowners; and allow carbon to be stored below protected areas.

...there's also the energy use issue. According to MB Hydro's own numbers, projects like this are estimated to increase energy demand in MB by ~50% between 2048-2050. That's a lot of additional draw for a utility which is scrambling to generate enough power, already.

No thanks. Manitoba is currently a "have not" province so, unless the incentives for the Deep Sky project are entirely Fed-funded, there is no public/Provincial money available to babysit a still nascent technology.

I love talking smack about the current admin as much as anyone, but ignoring pre-Covid numbers is disingenuous

One of the Brown students who was killed.

Last I checked, they still haven't caught the gunman, so this is another preemptive "THIS IS THE LEFT'S FAULT!", just like when Kirk was shot.

These people are deranged and actively provoking civil war.
