Yeah, I wondered if that irony was gonna get lost in the joke. Should’ve mentioned it, but I was probably tired and heading to bed and therefor lazy. But EXACTLY! They claim their enthusiasm is for hunting, but they really just like toys. That go boom. And that’s not a legit argument.

Still hunting for an agent for my fiction, so not an authority, but w this type of memoir, you may try taking a chapter or vignette and see if you can get it picked up by a magazine. Then you can take that, along with your proposal, and say, “see? This mag published an excerpt!” Wishing you luck!
