Didn’t they get convicted of lying to the public and have to pay hundreds of millions in damages?
The people and organisations they lie about should all start defamation suits, maybe combine them (dont know if thats smart in the US system) into a snowballing thing.

Bij Wilders is de vraag, wat heeft hij nu concreet bereikt voor zijn stemmers?
In al die jaren nog geen 30 wetsvoorstellen gedaan. Van alles belooft, van 20% huurverlaging, tot minder zorgkosten. Meerdere kansen op regeren gehad of geregeerd en niets geleverd.

The Netherlands. Offcourse we could do better too, a few too many former politicians end up on the business side of things for my liking to guarentee their neutralness whilst in office. And there should be attendance and performance rules like any other job. And probably some vetting rules.

Not enough, we’ve pushed back against much US crap like allowing anything from the US in and giving tech companies the same free reign. It is not much better, but at least the needle is moving. We also generally do not allow big money/donors into politics (its not perfect by any means).

This is the kind of conversation I have with my 8 year old teaching her about self reflection and owning what you did. Appears MTG just wasn’t raised right 🫣

This is illegal here. Politicians only have one paycheck, they are not allowed any personal “donations” and corporate money is illegal within political parties. When it becomes about pleasing a few instead of representing the many, you’re royally facked. Its hard enough here without big money.

Im so tired of this girl perspective. Whatever we do well, its because we wanna please others. Could have framed this as girls becoming more adept quicker at new tech priming them for tge workplace of 2050 and beyond. But nope, everything we do is because we’te pleasers…

Het beste doen voor de meeste mensen, werkt voor bepaalde belangen niet. Deze belangen zijn oververtegenwoordigd in de politiek. Dat moet er als eerst uit. En kamerleden moeten tijdens kantooruren een geheelverbod op socials, socials moeten beter gereguleerd en uitspraken in strijd met de grondwet

Vreselijk, ik ben zelf een aantal jaren rijksambtenaar geweest en er vooral keihard werkende mensen met hart voor Nederland getroffen die op hun beurt stuk gemaakt zijn door alleen nog “politiekbestuurlijk” te mogen schrijven (lees: stukken die de minister van dat moment goed pasten”).
Dus spiermassa bepaalt hoe mannelijk een man is? Of rood vlees eten? En kilo’s kip zou ik inderdaad ook niet rood aanraden 😆 ziehier de armoede in het manbeeld. Ik snap het ergens ook wel, bij gebrek aan diepgang platslaan tot dit soort platte makkelijk definieerbare zaken.

I am not American so I dont care whatever team. No person will align 100% of values. And you’re doing exactly that BUT THIS DEM DETAIL! All I want is for civilised nations to act like it, like democracies where all are equal before the law. We used to be allies and the US is spitting in our faces.

Newsom would be dead center if not right leaning in Dutch politics. Definitely not left or far left. We’re one of the happiest nations in the world and doing fine economically. So I’m curious what you’d say are cray-cray far left policies that ticket would go for that are crazier than Trump/Vance?

I am Dutch and my country has two dozen parties, I do not care for your rep vs dem thinking. We have our own journalists doing good work. That you disregard facts or your own laws because you dislike them, that is upto you. That you do it in something that’s barely a sentence is just very… American.

This whole clip is about immigrants following all the legal rules, doing everything right. They are following procedure so they’re not illegal, a judge still has to determine that. AFTER a judge has determined, then ICE can deport them. And even then, there are decent ways to go about it.

They can and will not see past those two issues - that might never really impact their life - and sacrifice all on that altar.

Because we crave to find that one particular issue or incident where someone was not perfect and use that to justify our “told-you-so-ness”.I think after this we’ll go back to more nuance. I mean, didn’t Churchill function on a lvl of alcohol intake that wouldnt fly today?
