I just learned that #alligator is okay for Catholics to eat on Fridays during #Lent because it is considered #seafood. Why can't I stop thinking about that? I'm not a zoologist, I'm not #Catholic, and I can't buy alligator in the local grocery store.

Recently I received an #email from someone who had been given my name to contact. She used my name to search for my email address (which contains my name) and then sent me an email addressed "to whom it may concern." Um ... she had my #name!

When I taught high school, on my desk I had a tabletop fountain whose trickling water provided some calming background sounds while students read and wrote. Today I bumped into a former student from a couple decades ago. One of her fond memories? That fountain. #teaching
