Coal-fired power plants are essentially steam engines - a technology abandoned by railroads in the 1950s and 1960. They are outdated, expensive to run and maintain, and cannot easily respond to fluctuations in electricity demand.

More than one-third of Americans can't legally or physically drive, belong to households that can't afford a car, or otherwise can't rely on a personal vehicle to meet their daily travel needs, a new report finds — and that means millions of people are being left behind due to car-centric policies.

But the data clearly shows that young drivers are way more at risk for crashing than any other age group, including older drivers. What would you do?
mobileharv.bsky.social
Get that, it’s a concern. But wow young drivers are really at high risk for crashes. And measures such as graduated licenses and training work. I would hope this could occur during normal activities that often use cars. That’s what my parents did.

Totally agree with the front license plate removal. For the sake of two drilled holes they have made our streets and rideshare less safe.

Yes but let’s give them this.

Federal shutdowns cause lasting damage. It’s part of the reason you are sleeping on the floor at an empty gate tonight.

Explaining traffic congestion by how the brain forms categories is breathtakingly reductionist. There are many layers to this complex system.
