It’s the most visited Smithsonian in DC, and in my opinion, the most beautiful. The exhibits on enslavement in America are meticulously done and heartbreaking. But those exhibits constitute about 1/5 of the museum’s content. The rest of the content is inspirational, historical, and educational. Go!!

I’ve not thought of returning to Target since the boycott began. I hope it goes bankrupt since it seems to have doubled down on its anti-equity stance. (I don’t use DEI because the term has been hijacked by the neo-Nazis).
