I have this pattern but have never made it because I can't decide on color. That may have just changed. So glad you shared this!

So many current day quilters would be distraught if their quilt had wavy lines like this. Just goes to show you that one persons trash is another persons museum-worthy piece of art.
I adore this!!

The cabinet has a cutout for the hand wheel. I see you call it a football. One person called it a D-cup!
Yes! Imperial. It's so exciting to chat with others who are familiar with machine.

I had no idea Berninas dated back that far.
I've been bitten by the 117 series Kenmore machines. They are my daily piecing machines, and I love them. The one on the right is from 1942.

I'm telling you what!!! I have stopped using all ink markers where they might show. They either leave a little stain, or some leave a waxy mark, and the color returns in the cold. I now use painters tape.

I can see why parents wouldn't want to put baby on quilt # 1 with a bottle of juice or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Quilt #2 is anything goes.
I'm team 'anything goes'
Love them both for different reasons.

I'm not interested in politics. It takes time to like and follow people here who have our same interests and block those who don't. I followed a quilter here, and suddenly, my page was littered with political posts. Turns out she was reposting political stuff so sadly, I blocked her.

I was shocked at how much waste that wall hanging produced. I donated the special rulers and pattern books. Not my thing.

Did you ring the bell?
I felt uncomfortable ringing the bell because so many were still in the waiting room for treatment .

I'm always amazed that a perfectly beautiful quilt (pre quilting) turns into a fantastic quilt (post quilting)!
