Mad magazine reminded me about a time when your Republican neighbor wasn’t evil and your Democrat neighbor wasn’t stupid—they were just people and it was the politicians who were incompetent. Interesting how we’ve come to blame each other instead of those who can actually do something about it.

Next time, don’t demand that he take it down, ask him to leave it up so we can keep red flags of racism waving for all to see and this doesn’t become yet another red flag we choose to ignore.

We should ALL be concerned. ICE is going after Latin-looking people and maybe that bothers you but not enough to care. But imagine if they start going after Asian or even European people and start pointing guns at our daughters and sons first and getting documentation later. This is a problem NOW.

This shouldn’t be brushed off as a singular event by a nutcase. Attacks on Democrats are becoming normal and that’s not actually a democracy.
