In this exciting episode of "blender noob adventures": using booleans to easily make cutout details on objects. The example used some simple lowpoly sci-fi crate/chest things, so I threw together a scene real quick to document my progress.

I finally got around to doing the classic-est of beginner blender projects: the donuts! I know that there are a million of these, but it's still so motivating! I've noted a bunch of improvements to carry forward to future projects.

Highlighting one of my favourite pieces of teaware since I’m using it, this lovely little 150-ish ml kyusu handmade by artist Umehara Kōshi. The pattern/texture on the lid are achieved by layering seaweed over the piece before firing.
