Hate the ratfucker in the WH. Hate the admin ratfuckers, especially ratfucker discount Himmler. Hate the GOP ratfuckers in Congress. Wish the ratfuckers who voted for both would see the error of their ways.
You know how you can’t read in your dreams - it’s just gibberish that has no meaning? This song is the aural version of that sensation.

Maybe he was borderline illiterate. Or a really bed speller. And what is it with guys and using,,, as punctuation. In no place in the English language is that a valid use of a comma.

And for all his money the man lived in a very expensive slum. He certainly couldn’t buy taste.

And he was a pedo.

Turkey bacon. Electric griddle. Lay it all out and let the water boil off. When the griddle is looking mostly dry, wave a bottle of olive oil over the bacon to whatever you’re looking for. Then turn the bacon over. Keep turning the bacon until it’s done to your satisfaction.

Most of those children have been there much longer. We just didn’t see them abducted and pulled away from their families. Children have had birthdays in that awful place. No more children should turn a year older in prison.

I have never gone to a movie expecting historical accuracy. It’s impossible. By the time this movie was conceived, the gunfight was 70-80 yrs in the past. The cultural notion of what happened was already set by yellow journalism and penny dreadful. It’s a great movie. That’s all I’m looking for.

I agree it’s really good. But I still have a hard time buying corn-fed All-American Jimmy Stewart as a German. Not as bad as John Wayne as Genghis Khan but still…

Good lord, the height of Tom Cruise’s hair 🤭

I love The Hasty Heart but I never think of it as a Ronald Reagan movie just as a movie he’s in. It’s King’s Row that gets me. I’ve loved that movie for 50 yrs, before I knew who Reagan was. There’s a reason it was his favorite movie. It is by far his best performance.

Augh! I love Capt America! Because he knows the Constitution, because he doesn’t like bullies, because he stands on principle, because he won’t let himself be part of a compromised institution even to “fix it” from the inside. MCU is my Cap and you’re reading wrong if you think Might makes Right.

I will be doing nothing to disabuse you of this notion, Taffy

I’d REALLY like not to see another spacecraft disintegrate with astronauts aboard. I guess I’m kinda quirky that way.

I can only hear Ron Perlman when reading Hellboy dialogue.

Haven’t seen the show yet but Ben Kingsley always seems to be having a ball in the MCU.

Personally I always thought Caan was underrated for his performance. It was so vulnerable in a way that men are rarely vulnerable in film. I compare it to Ronald Colman in Random Harvest. Different movies, different stories, different character arcs, same vulnerable performances.

The only thing the book does that the movie didn’t is dive into Paul’s drug addiction. Annie is the one who drugs him but he’s the one who has to live with it. It’s pretty harrowing just in that regard.

I enjoyed the movie. Thought it was an excellent example of the sports movie trope. I didn’t walk out thinking it needed any of the big noms.

I’m fine with almost anything when it’s pretend and acting and story. But those were real sea turtles being hauled around like props and an innocent turtle killed for the shock value. And yes I am glad these things are much more regulated now.

I can’t. They actually killed a turtle. I had to turn off 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - first time watching in 40 yrs - because of the way they were hauling around sea turtles under the water - holding flippers from both sides - the turtles in obvious distress. I just couldn’t bear it.
