That URL preview made me think the sketch header was gonna be Regrexit. Not sure if that would mean you regret brexit, or you're exiting from regrets... I guess we could apply either to Kemi 😂

So similar to the renationalise the NHS policy (which i assume refers to ended outsourcing) which would be incredibly time consuming, require active investment in training/staff etc, unless you're ok with cataract surgery capacity falling off a cliff 🤷‍♀️

Problems also created if you have to move GP - shared care agreements cannot be straightforwardly transferred, and a new GP will want you to be seen by the specialist again to confirm stability.

As I understand, it's not as simple as getting a prescription, because you must be monitored by a specialist. If you're judged to be stable then the GP can take over prescribing with a shared care agreement, but the GP is not obligated to do that (although they almost always will).

Same, I love the audiobook and physical book combo for telling my brain to shut up lol. Also unsolicited recs for twisty things: No Exit by Taylor Adams, and if you like sci-fi Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff bc that is a RIDE.

This complexity and sensitivity was of course addressed insightfully on the 6 o'clock news, where Chris Mason started his report by calling the situation "a mess"...

It feels like all of a sudden the papers have decided that Cummings is... someone we should listen to again?? If the Times/Telegraph really want us to listen to him, then publish one of his 30,000 word blog posts, you cowards!

Imo because the salience of immigration doesn't really map on to *actual* net migration levels, whereas I think you can make more of a case for salience of health being driven by e.g. increased A&E waiting times (although obv health is more than A&E)
