Proboscis Monkey female from the mangrove of Borneo. In most monkeys, the males disperse when they reach sexual maturity and the females stay in the troop they grew up in. But female proboscis monkeys, especially young ones, may change groups several times and even join a bachelor group.

A Tibetan Macaque mother keeping her young warm on a cold winter day in the mountains of the Labahe Nature Reserve in Sichuan, China, a place famous for Red Panda. With a weight that may exceed 18 kg it is one of the largest macaque species. Only the females get the red face.

THE YAWN / Wild mandrill alpha male flashing his canine teeth to let the world know who is the king of the jungle. Mandrill males get the longest canines of all primates, measuring up to 5 cm. Mandrills are mainly fruit eaters, so the main purpose of these weapons is threats and fights. Gabon.
