I had to put down my grandma’s sunflower mug to finish reading this morning’s @williecarver.bsky.social poem. Held my chest. Inhale. Exhale. When I picked it back up the coffee was sweeter and the sunflowers brighter. I’ll call my grandma today.

Over the years I’ve had to steer clear of any writing that is religion-adjacent as a mental health boundary. It feels really empowering to be at a place today where I can begin to read something like Stone’s When God Was a Woman.
