Not too shabby!

It’s not written for that as the Halfling and Goblin rules are two different sets, though there’s enough crossover that you could probably make it work.

The game works with two teams of three. You could play with less but it will limit which scenarios you can do.

Yep, a third vote for Song of Blades and Heroes.

Great stuff. Wouldn’t it be great if he sculpted one or two minis for this period? 🤣🤣

This was our first Punic Wars scrap, played just after lockdown. It all worked surprisingly well and ended up as a download once Midgard was published 3 years later. You can see more pics and read the full report here: mogsymakes.net/2021/06/21/p... #miniatures #nerdlings #wargaming #spreadthelard

Great to hear! We’ve been enthusing about the Ian Ross novels while we were playing today.

I concur, this has been a constant conversation between me and my wife for several years. A period piece Bond would be fantastic.

I’m pretty sure they do run Bosworth as a wargame at the visitor centre every so often! I need to go and check it out.

However it should be a jolly affair using Midgard Heroic Battles - back Richard III or Henry Tudor (or sit on the fence if your name is Stanley) and I’ll be interested to see if we get a different result! Video report of the original game is here: youtu.be/eoozzF1cInY?...

This will be the same scenario that we tried out at Tamworth Castle in September, though slightly reduced for a less spacious table (no castle hall sadly and Peterborough’s equivalent venue, London Road, was unavailable).
