The timeline was confusing as it was after the U-16 Youth World Cup in France so it must be around U-18 to U-20, though one thing I like is the artstyle. It’s like the J animation fused with Shin and Europe Movie, smoother however it didn’t adapt to J since it was a brand new artstyle at the time

Either way, I think there will be at least one friendly/training match before the WC as the literally only 3 original members from U-20 remains and may contribute to the qualification of the spot months and years prior, though the teams' history is very scarce so I'm hoping for side story about it

Considering this is an another chapters reachmark, I also want to add that there might be a similar match like Raimon vs Kazemaru's "Dark Team"if I recall from Inazuma Eleven or Not called-up Japan known members (Hyuga, Misaki, Jito, Nitta, Tachibanas, Soda) vs Japan 7 from Captain Tsubasa.
