I do agree with you - but at this point, it looks like they want people of color and women to ‘know our place’, while they let non-wealthy white men think that they are on the same team. Idk if the rural white men that I went to high school with will ever realize that they’re being played.

I’m a small business owner, and yes, a non profit option would be great!

(And of course universal would be best but idk how anyone responding here could think that it is a realistic option in the US now?)

Yes! I’ve also been knitting to avoid doom scrolling - coincidentally I’m also halfway through knitting a purple sweater.
