The original cloudformation hooks were problematic with limited use and a horror to deploy in an AWS Organization, especially one with Control Tower enabled as one of the SCPs applied denied anything but AWSControlTowerExecution from touching the registry/hooks.

My favourite is static and so I use Hugo both personally and professionally for our website. It’s open source and I can just about figure out how to use it. It’s got great post/blog publish support.
