My second visit there came three years later, to see Man United face Milan in the Champions League. It was probably one of the most famous United European ties in recent years. My dad and I were sat with the Milan fans. And it was the coldest I’d ever been. #ManchesterUnited #ChampionsLeague
Sitting among the Milan fans, trying to quietly cheer on United at the San Siro - February 2010. Ronaldinho scored right under our noses in the first minute. It was one of the best United performances in Europe ever The San Siro prior to kick off versus Manchester United in February 2010. The temperature was around -14°C, with an Alpine wind chill that would take the skin off your face. During the game, the Curva Sud would be incredibly intimidating. As a United fan sitting with the more sedate Milan fans on the Curva Nord, it was still pretty scary, though the locals sitting in front of us did shake our hands and congratulate us on a United win when we left. One of the most unforgettable experiences in all my life as a football fan

A silver Hyundai i10 (I think) parked in the space BETWEEN two blue badge spots (an exclusion zone marked with hatching to allow space for people with restricted movement or who might need equipment to mobilise). The car is plastered in both Learner and Novice plates, but not a blue badge to be seen. The car park in question is part of the Louth Hospital complex in Dundalk, Co. Louth, which makes the infraction even worse, if anything (plus there were plenty of free spaces available). A 2024 Peugeot 5008 parks with all four wheels on the footpath at a zebra crossing on Farney Street, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.
