Springfield is the ONLY city in MO with no campaign contribution limits. This means big donors can give thousands while regular folks get left out.

Our elections should work for people, not big $$$.
October 28, 2025 at 4:11 PM
📢 Springfield has no limits on campaign donations. Big money is drowning out real voices.

The Fair Play Springfield ordinance would cap donations at $2,600 to make elections fair again.

Tell Abe McGull & the Plans and Policies Committee: Pass this ordinance!

Politicians in #moleg tried to rip paid sick time away. But repeal doesn't mean defeat. It means doubling down. Missouri businesses are still standing with workers.

We organized to win #paidsickdays, we'll organize to win it back.

Right now, in Springfield, while Gov. Kehoe toasts and celebrates with big business inside the State of the State event, we’re outside demanding answers.

They #paidsick time and froze wages — and they’re celebrating?

We’re not staying silent.

Grieve today. Cry, and yell if you need to. But tomorrow, wherever you are, take action for working people. No step is too small. #Protectpaidsick #keepfighting

#Juneteenth is a reminder: Freedom in name isn’t freedom in practice. The fight for Black liberation didn’t end in 1865—it continues in our workplaces, communities, and streets.

At MO JwJ, we know there’s no real justice without both racial and economic justice.
