Poster in r/weddingplanning laments: No Father Daughter Dance Hi all, I’m planning a wedding for fall of next year and have a dilemma on my hands. I absolutely adore dancing, always have and am excited about all the dancing that will be done at my wedding. Unfortunately. my family is extremely religious and against dancing. They’re not paying for the wedding and I’ve made peace with the fact that there may be some disapproving glances. But one thing that eats me up, is I have always felt that a father daughter dance is one of the most beautiful parts of a wedding. I know I will be absolutely gutted that my Dad will not do it. There’s been some friction as I left their religion but he still has been a great Dad, and I’d love to have that moment with him. I definitely plan to have a first dance with my FH. And don’t want to stop him and his mom from having a groom-mother dance either. I just want to find a way for them to still enjoy the tradition that doesn’t involve me bawling on the side of the dance floor. Any advice welcome. I’d also love to hear from others who may have experienced similar situations.

(I think there was actually underwear involved, but it's a top-only shot.) Red Dragon (2002): Also the Great Red Dragon! This account is claiming Starbucks, Olive Garden & Red Lobster are offering free food for SNAP users, but it seems to be the only source for that (it's not on the companies' social media), so do with that what you will.
Anonymized person posting, "Some companies are filling in for the FACIST [sic] in charge!!! Spread the word before it's too late!!!!" Attached to the post are images labeled as Starbucks, Olive Garden and Red Lobster claiming to be offering free food to people who come in and show their SNAP/EBT card - but there's nothing about this on the social media for these companies

Galavant (ABC): a musical TV series so surprised that it got renewed for a 2nd season that it opened with a song mocking the site that declared it over Weird City: Remember that month when half the internet was trying to get in on the streaming TV thing? This was one of YouTube's shows, a sort of sci-fi anthology, and you need to at least watch the first episode. Loosely Exactly Nicole: started on MTV, then got sucked into Facebook Watch - again, remember that month when every site wanted to be a streamer? And now it's lost to the void, because Facebook Double checking the title led me to... Grand Crew (NBC), about friends that regularly meet up at a wine bar. I'm going to blame COVID for this one, taken from us too soon

Poked through some lists to refresh my memory and man, if this was just about underrated/appreciated TV shows, I'd have a thread.
Ghosted (FOX): an agency that investigates paranormal stuff The show's five stars in very Scooby Doo poses in front of the show's logo, which is entirely the vibe of the show LA to Vegas (Fox): A comedy about airlines that gave us the Dylan McDermott vs Dermot Mulroney faceoff we deserved The show's stars in a dramatic walking collage in the desert in front of a low-flying plane, which is very weird Powerless (NBC?): insurance workers in a city regularly troubled by monsters, villains and superheroes Scene from the show (because the promo pics kinda suck) of four characters leaning over a desk in front of a computer (that's how bad the promo pics sucked) Swedish Dicks (Pop TV, now CW): two PIs trying to make it in LA The two groovy detectives, one in leather fringe and the other pointed his phone like a gun, and equally wacky supporting cast - you should watch it, it's fun
