On the contrary, it will benefit underprivileged actors the most! They are the ones who suffer the worst under unfair contracts. They are the ones who don’t receive a living wage. This is a temporary sacrifice in the name of improving workplace conditions and compensation. Solidarity forever!

It’s not. The SAG-AFTRA Union is currently striking because of unfair contracts from major Hollywood corporations. Minority members aren’t being forced to refuse credit for their work, they are choosing to stand in solidarity with all their peers. It’s inconvenient, but ultimately good.
