If we really want to be with the sun, we should change the whole system, and adapt our society to the sun for real, not just adopting one of another current systems. So far I vote for keeping one schedule the whole year, and based on my location, DC, I vote for one hour more of sun on the afternoon

Also, if you want to keep circadian rhythms, maybe the parallel time zones are not the best approach. It is not the same in upstate New York than in South of Florida, for some locations the hours will be messed up.

Yes, I read it, still disagree. I've been living in Spain for half of my life and can tell you I don't think it's so critical keeping the standard time. There are many other factors that are not accounted for. And in Spain they still do the stupid time change twice a year.

Again, look at other countries, like Spain, they are 2 hours ahead in summer and guess what, their life expectancy and happiness is much higher than the US one. Maybe we should talk about gun access, nutrition, healthcare...
