Giving a paper on shanty singing in the Mediterranean today at the University of Sousse for the Sea Songs of the Mediterranean conference. It’s a pleasure (though slightly intimidating) to open the conference. Can’t wait to hear the panel on maritime work song immediately afterwards too!
