Proud husband and father of twins. Adores tabletop games, painting minis, mixing cocktails, and animals.
My first character was a gnome warlock that I rage quit because I didn’t know about the tram and tried to walk from Ironforge to Stormwind through some high level zones.

I was always really a horde player at heart anyway.

I know that Sean had some doubts about this episode but I wanted to call out that I loved this one! It was really cool to see the threads of music that changed and the ones that stayed the same as artists move between bands. Thanks for putting awesome sets out there!

Another reason I have a deep distrust of the internet of things.

We went to protest but didn’t have time to make signs. Gotta start ‘em young.

The minis are so fun to paint! I see you put a lot more attention to detail on the bases than I do. There’s a painting order for the minis on BoardGameGeek if you want to stay ahead of the scenarios. Curious to hear your thoughts on the game once you pick it up!

My go to has been randomly selecting between sealed and draft, randomly selecting a class and then a second class to get cards from, and playing single path on the first difficulty bump that makes elites more common. I also bought the game for a third time on Steam to try out the Downfall mod.

Well only hardy plants can survive that amount of snow. Did I say plants? Clearly I meant staff.

Did I ever tell you about 6/6/06 when the Kingdom of Jerusalem did not descend upon Farmington, Maine? It was a fascinating moment in my life.

I bet Suburbia would work well for you too!

Always glad to pick the old brain for a board game rec! Hope something here works for you.

I think Bruges is out of print but it was apparently reimplemented as Hamburg? Worth looking at.
Everdell has great tableau/engine and a cutesy woodland animals town theme.

Any themes or weights in particular that appeal to you/your other player?

Isn’t working for me on mobile safari, and I don’t think I have prefers-reduced-motion on at the moment.
