It’s just so stressful! Am I over watering? Under watering? Am I pruning this right? What the fuck is eating my plants? Is that blight or bruising? Should I be talking to my plants? My potatoes are so small! What is this dog vomit in my garden beds? Oh it’s a fungus literally called dog vomit… ugh.

Flights in/out of BNA had to rely on regional air controllers in Memphis, I would not like to be on a plane today. Granted, I just hate flying.

They were actually sort of busy, all were in good spirits and having fun though. It was a super nice environment considering the state of things. I’m always proud of our voting precinct- we turn out in good numbers.

Fun fact: I first got interested in gardening after reading the Unabomer’s manifesto. I stuck with it because I thought gardening would make me a nicer person (bc everyone who gardens seems so nice)- anyway it didn’t. It actually made me angrier, lol.

I do have to say though, people against this zoning are folks who wouldn’t’ve been caught dead renting over there even 20-40yrs ago. Preserving the character of the neighborhood?! 😂 What about when it was FULL of working class families? Many of them in post-war built duplexes now long gone…
