having to also constantly monitor certain recent happenings has drained a lot of energy from me in an environment where it can be Really easy for that to spiral into dooming about everything. passionate as i am, i have my limits too, and i feel i need to focus more on what’s immediately closer to me

a lot happened on my end and large-scope in a pretty short timespan, and i think the pressure of wanting to get more done kind of backfired as all of these said things happened when they did. burnout took hold, and i feel like i’ve grown more distant from some parts of me than i would have liked to

I cannot describe how fucking happy it makes me seeing journalists just pointing out that they're lying. Once again, if you're calling, bringing up these articles as why you're calling is a VERY good idea.

yeah, i’ve worked in call centers before. repeat callers are usually categorized that way so they can get “extra attention” (usually that means getting sent to someone specifically to get them off the line asap or determine if they have a problem that can actually be solved on the call)
