It's also part of the pivot to Asia strategy in the context of belt and road. Christo-fascism is good for attacking the "godless Communists". The counterpart to pinkwashing is Christ-washing.

A lot of reactionary anti-imperialists heavily lean on the image of the decadent and pornographic West.

Christo-fascism is still good for attacking Islam but is slightly more compatible with using Jihadist pawns.

It's kind of like how abortion is used as a wedge issue for the Republicans to get the Catholic vote.

It's solipsistic to think that domestic policy on queer issues is solely about the imperial core.

Particularly in the military, the USA wants to present its best face to its compradors.

It's something like that if the periphery is akin to slavery then the semi-periphery is akin to serfdom.

IDK I suppose the historical subject in Canada right now is largely the migrant workers.

Canadian citizens/labor aristocracy are more akin to Roman peasants, ruined by migrant labor and the offshoring of industry to the periphery.

Maybe Balkanization of the imperial core will happen as capitalism increasingly becomes unprofitable. You do have neo-colonialism in the periphery.

I see the downfall of USAian empire as something like this.

Mass unemployment, emigration, a heavy reliance on migrant labor.
December 7, 2025 at 9:25 PM
> A general fall in production took place in the last two centuries of the existence of the Roman Empire. Trade fell into confusion, formerly rich lands became poor, the population began to decline, crafts perished and towns began to be deserted.
December 7, 2025 at 9:25 PM
> The towns became the centres where the slave-owning nobility, the merchants, the usurers, the officials of the slave-owning State, all of whom exploited the broad masses of the peasant population, were concentrated.
December 7, 2025 at 9:18 PM
> The contradiction between town and country, which had already arisen during the transition from the primitive communal system to the slave-owning system, grew deeper and deeper.
December 7, 2025 at 9:18 PM
> The small peasantry was squeezed out, fell into slavery or swelled the ranks of the impoverished sections of the town population, the lumpen-proletariat.

You can argue that resistance in the imperial core will only really begin when people start emigrating because of political repression.

IDK I'm thinking about fascism now. Fascism would be a capitalist democracy of unfreedom.

So I mean there's definitely the argument that as people fight for national liberation that the decaying empire will transform into a fascist democracy of unfreedom.
December 7, 2025 at 9:03 PM
Something about the democracy of unfreedom and the large state industrial-monopolies.

This Hegel stuff is kind of unreadable though. www.marxists.org/archive/marx...

IDK. Still not sure what the principle first-world problem is. It's not that the imperial core isn't exploited, but it's not the principle contradiction.

So IMO selling washing machines and other home appliances on credit is an indirect method of socializing domestic labor. And the West went through this whole process where domestic labor was slowly industrialized.
December 7, 2025 at 8:45 PM
An overly simple analysis considers the labor aristocracy petty-bourgeoisie due to their access to credit.

IMO the purpose of finance is to indirectly socialize labor. Access to credit is part of how capital encroaches on private life and the commons.
December 7, 2025 at 8:37 PM
The imperial core will slowly proletarianize but in a weird sort of way. The situation is unstable and the imperial core must develop some unique contradiction.

IMO the contradiction must involve financialization somehow.
December 7, 2025 at 8:33 PM
I just need to think through the historical tendencies of the imperial core. I think it's likely that the EU will emerge as world hegemony and that it's likely the imperial core will continue to outsource productive labor to the periphery.
December 7, 2025 at 8:30 PM
I liked a lot of your videos man.

Anti-imperialists don't need to shit on marginalized communities to call out hypocrisy and imperialism.

Do you seriously think mad people are the ones who most benefit from the eugenicist USAian reich?
