Hazel is the perfect nanny for the little girl with a professional baseball player father. Emmett is closed off, grumpy and introverted except for his daughter.
I loved seeing a mature relationship start to bloom and the narrators were so perfect for the characters ❤️

Even with an IUD and no real period, it’s rude that my hormones still absolutely OWN my ass for 24-48 hrs every month. Fine, I’ll take the constant feeling of wanting to cry but can be give up the unbearable anxiety? Maybe?

So not only did my work decide to move to full in office come September, but now they are moving people into our area who weren’t there before and my ADHD is going to just love all these distractions 😳

We adopted a dog that was an owner surrender due to barking. We’ve had him just over 24 hrs and he has not barked once. He tried at one point but it came out all hoarse like a growl yelp. Did he just wear out his vocal cords or they lied about why they were giving him up?

Several parents from my son’s tee ball team have been wearing MAGA or 45 shit… I’m the coach and am VERY tempted to rock a “mother by choice, for choice” or “equality doesn’t mean less for you” shirts to our next practice.

When hoopla has an 8 borrow limit per month and i just started an 18 book series… you work the system and borrow as many as you can on the last day of April to carry you through

Embracing my 35th birthday by planning to sit outside at a restaurant to have some drinks, have a nice easy dinner at a regular restaurant and stay overnight at a hotel with my husband just so we can sleep in the next day before coaching tee ball 🤣

It will never stop being funny that HR has up do quarterly connects with our managers bit I work with mine daily and our chats last 2-3 min like “great job, keep doing what you’re doing”

Toyota fixed a recall on my car yesterday where the airbags wouldn’t deploy for anyone under 60lbs in the passenger seat… except now the OCS is triggered by air so my ghost passenger is always buckled 😡😡😡

My 4 yo had a stomach bug…. And now I’m showing signs of it. No one tells you that this might actually be the hardest part of parenting. Caring for your sick kid when you are sick yourself

Mom reflexes are no joke… woke up to my son running into our room and puking. I was up and out so fast! Then I had to do a quick move out of bed for the 2nd round later.

I got the flu shot… and have had the flu twice this year. I will still always get the flu shot. Cause while I know people wiped out for 1-2 weeks with the flu, I have mild symptoms for 3-4 days max. I have a 4 yo… there is no escaping germs 🦠

One negative to being a fast reader if I feel like I go through too many books… like I can easily finish a 300-400 page book in 2 days max. Add in a 8-10 hr audiobook I can crush during one day in office and my reading goals are ridiculous
