I started coming out 5 years ago so I won’t lie I don’t feel comfortable enough telling my students I’m not straight (+i don’t think that’s relevant to my classes) but I’m glad I can help them feel safe in the space I’ve created at least 🥺

I asked my students what kind of mangas they were reading these days and this girl was so shy about it telling me it wasn’t a real manga etc
Turns out she’s reading a yuri 🥺💜 I made sure she was comfortable reading whatever she wanted even lgbt+ stories
