My favorite thing about detailed linework is really studying it, and pouring over it like a text. Each swirl, each convergence, each radial burst, satisfying parallels, shifts in weight, etc. It's like the difference between a mochi and a tiramisu- both are tasty treats, one is just simpler looking🥰

I think both can be true! I really enjoy intricate linework. Simple, impactful linework is beautiful too, but I also love the depth and flow of a beautifully detailed lined art. Sometimes "fussy" or "busy" lines is just a matter of taste. Filigree and rosemaling are busy, but highly regarded arts 🥰

Yeah, again, I don't mean to blame them, but this seems like it could have been avoided. Like some people can be good liars, and I never blame judges for someone else lying to them. But this was not even a good or convincing lie, if folks online can take a single look and go "that isn't right." 😭

Like I certainly don't know every media reference ever, since I have no idea what that helmet is. But I happen to recognize the Code Geass cosplay, so know that those two don't go together. Unless the dude photoshopped different media together, references would have shown they don't match up.

Not here to blame the judges, pero like, did they not ask for references? 😭

This is uh oh stinky behavior
