Mompox, officially Santa Cruz de Mompox, is a town in northern Colombia's Bolívar Department. Founded near the Magdalena River, it retains much of its colonial charm and played a key role in Latin America's independence. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Getting to Mompox! You can fly from Bogota and Medellin on Satena, but there are only a couple of flights a week. Otherwise you can reach Mompox by road, using public transportation from cities such as Bogotá (14h), Cartagena 6h), Barranquilla (7h), and Bucaramanga (8h) #Mompox #Colombia
