Pleasuring thy self is a form of resistance especially with the way the world wants to politicise our bodies and use them as points of discourse. My body is my choice and whatever I choose should serve that purpose.

As a trans woman I refuse to be silenced and erased. My existence is resistance.

The truth is that we humans live on the surface, reacting emotionally to what people say and do. We form opinions of others and ourselves that are rather simplified. We settle for the easiest and most convenient story to tell ourselves.

Inclusion means that people affected by a particular issue or issues get to meaningfully represent themselves in decisions that could affect their lives. I am in awe that that practice is being embraced.

One of the most harmful and insidious attacks against transgender people is the weaponization of women’s rights language to justify exclusion, restriction, and erasure. These efforts don’t just harm trans people they also undermine gender justice as a whole.

Movements are not born from silence, and change is not sparked from the sidelines. Every shift in history began with someone bold enough to speak, challenge, and lead. @malalafund.bsky.social @globalfundwomen.bsky.social

I am currently embracing the concept of learning by doing. Sometimes, you don’t need a certification to accomplish something you can learn through practice, experience, and even failure. After all, that’s what life is truly about.

The principle of gender equality is central to human rights discourse. Unequal power rships give way to social, economic, political and cultural discrimination on the basis of gender across all societies. #equitas
