Seedy Sunday at Ascot Hills Park was a great time! We took home cuttings of Golden Currant (for adult Monarchs) and sowed 1000+ Narrowleaf Milkweed seeds for future planting events. A wonderful collaboration between several LA based environmental organizations 🦋🖤

The 28th Western Monarch Count reported the second lowest overwintering population ever recorded since tracking began in 1997. This supports USFWS' proposal to include monarch butterflies for protection under the U.S. Endangered Species Act.
