D - Kratos Vs Asura.

Idk what else to say that others haven't already said. The episode has gotten enough as is with the character butchering, the weird animation, the voice acting, the pacing, and even the action and references. I'm just disappointed it turned out as the only "bad" episode.

C - ok episodes.

- Blade vs Buffy has a lot of good work put into it and is the best out of the live action episodes I'd say, I just don't really care for it as much as the other episodes.

- Honestly enjoyed Omni Man Vs Bardock, but yeaaah that conclusion is weird and the logic is inconsistent.

- Miles and Deku bounce off each other quite well, and there a plenty of nice quips and references. Plus multiple cinematic as hell shots like the leap, or funny moments like when Miles goes flying.

- The mixing of elements between Among Us and Fall Guys is really fun, and makes for a good dynamic.

B - really good episodes.

Hulk vs Godzilla delivers on a lot of fronts with the size difference and dread throughout the whole fight, only faltering a little bit at the end. It's easy to see the winner once it gets to Ultima, and while it is cinematic, ultimately makes it a matter of waiting.

- Wile E. vs Tom follows a lot of what made Scooby vs Courage so good, utilizing the toon logic to the fullest for fun slapstick and set pieces, while making it unique enough to provide an actual winner by digging through the rules and even meta narrative of the characters. Which is neat.

- Good incorporation of abilities and that classic Jojo trickery in Joker vs Giorno, with a satisfying "No u" not once, but twice towards the end.

- Mainly the analysis and parallels on human nature between Mahito and Shigaraki that honestly elevates it for me, super concise and fun to follow.

- Ghost Rider and Spawn bounce off each other wonderfully with great aura farming, lines, and overall vibes through the music and animation. Similar joy with watching like Simon vs Kyle.

- Master Chief vs Doom Slayer was a stomp and we all knew it, and it delighted in being a stomp.

A - amazing episodes.

- I'm not really a fan of RWBY, and none of the other RWBY episodes did it for me: but I love Ruby vs Maka purely for the celebration of it as the 200th episode, and as a memorial to Monty Oum and his legacy. (Plus also Casey Lee Williams for Death In Bloom 👌)

- Dante vs Clive has some bias because FF16 is one of my favorite games sure, and the episode did take a bit to warm up this high (facial expressions are a bit strange admittedly) but it's a wild ride and I loved seeing my boi Clive get the respect he deserved. Plus it's an extremely close match.

- Ash vs Yugi may change over time as it just came out: but the love put into all the little references throughout both the animation and analysis, while focusing purely on the anime + manga makes it really stand out. And it was unpredictable right up until the last second. Good ass finale.

S - the best of the best.

- Bowser vs Eggman is still the peak of Death Battle. Amazing animation and pacing, phenomenal music and voice acting, good characterization, what's not to love?

- Simon vs Kyle did a flawless job at the batshit insanity and "HUMANITY FUCK YER" energy of both characters.

Oh tell me about it. Dear lord. You can't escape from this exaggeration mentality anywhere, especially within the Nintendo sphere of games.

Like yeah there's definitely room for valid critique, but woowwwww people really blow things out of proportions.

Which again: sure the amiibo thing isn't great on a corporate level. But that's corporate doing that, not the devs. And they don't deserve shit, much less to this extent just for developing the game.

Also I just blame a lot of the behavior to how Twitter is a shit hole.

Uh read the other replies. But in general seems like from 1: the writing and narrative the game has, which many have already gone to labelling as "MCU-esque".

And 2: you are apparently able to play music while out in the open world on your bike... but only if you get the bike amiibo.

I'd like to say we all need to do better... but clearly many people out there are more than content to stew in a misery complex: with constant exposure to negativity, engaging in the worst of the internet, creating pointless mobs, and all this just to feel better than others or to farm for content.

Regardless of your impressions on Prime 4 as a game (assuming you've played it) and Nintendo as a company: people who just simply worked on this game and had no hand to play (most likely) with the Amiibo content locking do not deserve these death threats. Nor for any writing choices.

Omega, AT Nu Udra, 9 star mons, Stories 3, monetization drama… basically everything I missed out on the past few months because of one reason or another.
