Mine's in The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie. Being a cosy-crime girl, this really appealed to me. The queen of crime delivers a twist that rewrote the rules of detective fiction. It's famously controversial and genius-level cheeky.

I've not read any of the Lord of the Rings books, but I do know the stories from films and animations, and my brothers talk about them all the time. I bet this was an amazing, heart-stopping moment!
