RIP Ken Dryden. One of the greatest goalies and more importantly, a great person. If you’re a hockey fan & haven’t had the chance yet, give his book a read! A great reflection into the game from one of the smartest hockey minds, where hockey is just 1 part of him

Finally got around to reading R.F. Kuang’s Yellowface (yes I know how late I am). My friends who don’t like asshole protagonists would hate it, but I absolutely loved it. Hilarious and absurd without getting into ridiculous territory. I love her writing

Living in the suburbs last 2 weeks confirmed how much I hate it there. Had a Jays game planned last night, and by the time I got home I had to leave for work again in under 8hrs. What’s the point of a big house you never get to stay in?

I really wish the TTC would have more art in the stations to brighten things up. What if we did collabs with high school art programs and stuff? Show off our next generation of artists while beautifying the city even if it’s not like Museum or College with the hockey mural

Lesson learned: all good pastry shops sell out well before 4pm. Thought I had tons of time to get pastries for tonight but all the best local spots were sold out already. Eventually had to settle for chocolate almond croissants from Au Pain Dore
