People very often falsely assume fiction must work under the same rules as our world, and then become upset when a fictional work contradicts these rules they forced onto it. To hold fiction accountable for contradicting rules from our world is a crucial mistake.

Truly one of the greatest frauds perpetrated on this generation is the doctrine "School doesn't matter," instilled on students since early childhood. I can't even begin to imagine what damage it has caused to the development of countless children.
