Both of my #LEGO #BuildToGive hearts together! 💕🩵
My two LEGO-built hearts one transparent light blue and clear with a snowflake piece and the other mostly transparent pink with a couple clear pieces. They are both hanging from a suction cup on a window, pushing each other at different angles. Outside is snowy and bright.

I didn't expect to get to see the northern lights from my own driveway with so much light pollution, but they're stunning!

Cat approved BrickCon swag!

May, our smallest and oldest cat, who has no claws and few teeth, killed a cricket that somehow got in the house!
I didn't let her eat it, but gave her treats instead.

Tom is out of surgery & everything went just about as well as can be expected!
He's having some minor signs of Horner's Syndrome, which is not unexpected &, hopefully, temporary. Otherwise he's doing great & should be able to come home tomorrow!

Please send well-wishes to General Tom Foolery as he heads off to the vet specialists at the teaching hospital again. He has surgery again tomorrow on his ear.

General Tom Foolery has to go back to the specialist vets again. His ear looks very infected, but our regular vet can't see any bacteria or yeast or anything that would be causing it.
Our large grey cat with one docked ear lays on the vet's exam table with his paws tucked in. His head is cocked a bit toward the troublesome docked ear and his green eyes look at me imploringly.

Apep's prognosis was way worse than we hoped. We chose to say goodbye today.

During our six hour visit to the emergency vet, we chatted with several people in the waiting room and one 6yo made Apep some fanart. ❤️

Our grey cat lies on top of the papers in an open blue binder and reaches between the rings to grab my orange and clear mechanical pencil. One eye is watching the camera and his nose and mouth are hidden behind his foreleg, making his expression look furtive.

Guess who got into the hole in the wall inside the bathroom closet!!
Our chunky grey cat with one docked ear is walking away from the closet in the bathroom. It's hard to see, but there's a bit of drywall dust on the bridge of his nose. He's looking at the camera expectantly because I shook the container of treats to get him to come back out. He is aptly named General Tom Foolery.

Birds kept hitting our windows, so I decided to try a DIY solution!

Last week for National Library Week my library had dress-up days to celebrate. When we were asked to dress as our favorite illustrated character, I chose Tiffany!

It's National Library Week, so some of us at the library I work at dressed up as our favorite illustrated characters today.
I knew few would recognize me as Tiffany Aching, but I had fun with it anyway!
Also, I made myself a frying pan purse!

It's clear who's the boss amongst our 3 cats: the tiniest, oldest cat. The only one with no claws and half her teeth. She rules the roost... and is the loudest!

Our dilute torti is halfway through a doorway and my hand reaches back petting her neck and shoulders. She looks down and to the right. Out dilute torti is further into the same room as me and has flooped down on her side. My hand is reaching back and scratching the top of her head as she looks up.
