Do male characters talk about a female character, in admiration, in tv shows and movies? Or is it just in Ted Lasso? (Scene: Roy talking about how great Keeley looks in her photo shoot, and how it hurt his feeling, singular, when he did not appear in any of the photos the magazine used)

Reading “All Creatures Great and Small”. James Herriot seems like a generous soul. Definitely a gifted storyteller. Wholesome. My dad was a country vet in Europe, New Zealand, and Canada in the 50s to the 90s. These stories remind me of my dad.
