Hey, Bluesky, afaik I’ve actually *never* changed my birthdate. I don’t even know if I gave it to you in the first place, which was what I was trying to check when you gave me this message instead of letting me look at it.

😤 GREAT; can’t access PMs w/o ‘assuring’ some random entity of my age.

Given the misstatement of current Aus law in the pop-up I received when I clicked on the PMs icon, I have to say I’m FILLED w confidence re all this. 🙃

(I was expecting Reddit & poss YT to be b0rked; this is just unnecessary.)

Sooo… has anyone gone through this ‘age assurance’ process with KWS for their Bluesky account yet?

How was it? What do I need to know before I consider engaging?

Instance of the “Is this a pigeon? meme. It comprises five elements, two visual, and three textual. The visual elements are (1) the point-of-view character and (2) what is clearly a butterfly (which the PoV character is enthusiastically gesturing towards). The text elements are (1) a label for the point-of-view character or entity, in this instance: “me, a student”, (2) a text label for the butterfly element, specifying what it actually is — in this case, “making memes” — and the third element is text towards the bottom of the image, which asks “Is this a … [fill in the blank]?”. Whatever fills in the blank should be humorously incongruous with whatever the butterfly element is labelled as. In this instance, I’ve labelled it “quote-unquote learning law”. Me, a student, making memes. Is this quote-unquote learning law?
