I should add that my references for the king and the gargoyle are from Notre Dame itself, but Esmeralda was referenced from an amazing sculptor I found online (I can’t remember their name)

Thank you for the advice. However, I’ve already been practicing many of these techniques. I will admit for this painting I used black to darken the green, but I was working with travel paints which limited what I could do in terms of color. I never use black to darken colors in my other paintings.

I found it from Jess Less on YouTube and expanded from there by following more YouTube tutorials. I totally recommend it!
